In a season marked by gratitude and celebration, Presley Healthcare gathered its workforce on Saturday, December 13, for an evening of recognition, reflection, and reward.
Held at the organization's corporate office in Crossville, Tennessee, the Employee Christmas Awards Banquet was more than just a festive gathering, it was a heartfelt tribute to the healthcare professionals whose dedication continues to shape the lives of patients across the region.
The evening’s centerpiece was the recognition of employees who have committed five or more years of service to the organization, some even crossing the three-decade mark.
Among the evening’s most celebrated names were Dr. Richard Clark and Garry Burks, PA, both with over 30 years of service at Acute Care Clinics of America. Their enduring commitment drew a standing ovation from colleagues and leadership alike.

In total, over 15 employees were recognized for five or more years of service, each honored with a personalized plaque as a symbol of the organization’s appreciation.
Beyond tenure, the evening spotlighted individuals who exemplified the organization’s values through exceptional performance, compassion, and leadership.
Sherry Crabtree, a 7-year veteran at Acute Care Clinics of America, received the Patient Excellence Award, honoring her unwavering focus on patient care and empathy.

Shawnasea Garrett was named Nurse of the Year, lauded for exceeding expectations and boosting patient satisfaction through her compassionate clinical care.

Emma Crabtree, a relative newcomer, earned the Rising Star Award, a nod to her swift impact, professionalism, and willingness to embrace challenge.

Sharon Thompson, with 18 years of service, was honored with the Above & Beyond Award, a recognition of her tireless dedication and support to her team, often behind the scenes.

Jessica Baldwin’s ability to turn challenges into positive experiences earned her the Customer Service Award, while Provider of the Year was awarded to Garry Burks, PA, whose leadership in care delivery continues to set the standard.


The ceremony’s most prestigious honor, the President’s Award, was personally selected by CEO Johnny Presley. This year, it was awarded to Dr. Richard Clark, recognizing his lifelong service, clinical excellence, and mentorship across generations of healthcare practitioners.

“Dr. Clark is more than a colleague, he’s a cornerstone of this organization,” said Presley. “There is no better recipient of this award.”
As the evening drew to a close, one thing was clear: behind every plaque, every award, every round of applause, was a story, of long nights, meaningful moments, and lives changed.
Presley Healthcare’s Employee Christmas Awards Banquet served not just as a celebration, but as a reminder of what healthcare looks like at its best: people showing up, year after year, for each other and for their patients.
